📞 Hotline: 903-583-7000

Welcome to the Fannin County Family Crisis Center

At the Fannin County Family Crisis Center, we believe that every person deserves to feel safe, supported, and heard. Our mission is to provide compassionate, confidential services to individuals and families affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and other forms of trauma.

We are here for you! Whether you need emergency shelter, emotional support, safety planning, legal advocacy, or simply someone to talk to.

How We Can Help

The Fannin County Family Crisis Center is here to support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, and other forms of trauma. Our services are free, confidential, and designed to meet people where they are — with dignity, compassion, and care.

24/7 Crisis Hotline

We are here for you at any hour of the day or night. When you call our confidential hotline at 903-583-7000, you’ll be connected with a trained advocate who can offer emotional support, safety planning, and resources tailored to your situation. Whether you’re in immediate danger, simply need someone to talk to, or you need specific resources, you are never alone.

Emergency Shelter

For individuals and families fleeing dangerous or abusive situations, we offer assistance to get to an emergency shelter in a safe and secure location. We’ll find you a healing environment where you can begin to regain stability, rest, and plan your next steps — all while receiving the support of caring our advocates.

Legal Advocacy

Navigating the legal system can be overwhelming, especially when you’re in crisis. Our staff provides guidance, referrals, and accompaniment to court proceedings. We can assist with:

  • Filing protective orders
  • Understanding your legal rights
  • Preparing for court appearances
  • Connecting with legal aid and law enforcement when needed

Basic Needs Assistance

Crisis situations often disrupt access to basic necessities. We help meet immediate needs by providing:

  • Food and non-perishable items
  • Hygiene products and personal care items
  • Diapers, wipes, and baby supplies
  • Clothing, including items for court or job interviews

Community Referrals & Resources

No one agency can do it all — and that’s why we partner with organizations across Fannin County and beyond. If we don’t provide the service you need, we’ll help connect you with someone who does. From housing to healthcare to employment support, we’re here to walk alongside you.

Get Involved

At the Fannin County Family Crisis Center, we believe that lasting change is only possible when we work together as a community. Every donation, every volunteer hour, and every conversation makes a difference in the lives of survivors and their families.

Whether you have time, resources, or a passion for helping others, there’s a place for you in our mission.
